In the sermon on the mount Jesus calls us to an uncommon life, leading us away from our natural tendencies of self-righteousness and self-indulgence to a life of uncommon ethics and dependence on himself as our Savior. Although this sermon was delivered almost 2,000 years ago it’s just as practical and relevant today – answering many questions we still ask about how we should live our lives.
